This is my northern melancholy coming through. I was born from the harsh soil of Norrbotten. Yet the light of a winter afternoon in northern Sweden is unmatched. I stand there, looking at life through the eyes of a child — curious, wondering if I should really take the shortcut across the ice to my house. The cold bites my cheeks, and the sun slowly sinks. The time is 2:30 p.m.
