Autumn is both a blessing and, for me, a time when darkness settles in my mind. I wish I could be a bear — just eat and sleep when November is at its darkest. My driving force is the light, after all.
BUT there is so much beauty in autumn. For these paintings, I picked magnificent oak leaves and ferns to use as my tools. I make my own stencils.
